Hey, sorry I'm blogging so late...........the plumber came today and had to take the doors off to get that shower stall into the house.......he really surprised me, I actually thought he'd be busy with that other house today........then I think he found out the job was taking longer than he thought and was more trouble than he thought so he had to go..........he said to see his son's ballgame..........I think he needed to worry with that other house is what I think..........and I dont mind........but he did try to leave without putting my doors back on and I told him I'd call someone to come fix them so he did it himself........this shower is attractive when you are inside it, but on the outside it is fiberglass and they didn't dress it up as it is designed to be surrounded with wall board and it has lips on it that are supposed to go under wall board and my bathroom is not designed to do that........in fact, the trim on the door would interfere with putting something there to fix the problem and on the other side is only a cabinet and that fiberglass is ever so obvious..........so I'm thinking crazy things, like buying some floam and covering it LOL Anyway, the plumber said he'd be back in the morning and would finish his part then.........if I want to pretty it up, I'm gonna have to hire a contractor.........plus the plumber wants to replace the trap to the shower with PVC........he also wants to add a vent.........an extra hundred dollars. This shower is getting mighty expensive (big sigh). I dont like the vent idea because it will go up the outside of the house and wont be purty........I'm thinking of taking a sharpie and writing the plumbers name on these vents on the outside of the house, honestly I am......
We had storm warnings tonight so I've had to watch the local stations instead of what I prefer to watch........which is usually the news.......but they interviewed Obama tonight and I wasn't ready to listen to him lie about how naive he has been about a preacher he's listened to for twenty years now.........frankly, I just didn't feel like being lied too tonight anyway........I'm sure I'll hear snippits of it tomorrow all day long.....I need to get to bed because tomorrow is another day and it's late........hope you all have a good one and hope my plumber finishes the job tomorrow, this will be the third day running and I think he could have done it in less time if he'd really wanted to.........I think he wants me to feel he has earned his money cause it took so long........a shower rod small enough to fit is going to be really fun to look for......I think we shall have to shave a small one a bit to achieve that goal......
